How To Activate PlanDeer

Activation procedure for PlanDeer:

Activation of PlanDeer contains two steps – Requesting for Activation Code from the Publisher and inputting that code into PlanDeer

A. Request for Activation Code

Open PlanDeer 10 planner document. Ensure that Macros are Enabled (Very Important).
Go to “About_PlanDeer” page and under “Product and Activation Information” section, update the email id (through which you have made the purchase) and update the transaction reference (the reference number from your invoice copy) XXXX??? – to elaborate clearly after seeing the CCAvenue and PayPal invoices.
Click on “PlanDeer” menu on the ribbon.
Click on “Activate” menu under Activation tab. This would open the activation form displaying the details required for activation.
If you are yet to request for activation code, click on “Request Activation Code” button. (If you already have the activation code, go to “Enter Activation Code”). A new email is composed through your email client (if email client has been installed on the system), with prefilled details of Product Version, Computer Code, Transaction reference and your email ID. In case you haven’t entered the Email ID (through which the purchase was made) and Transaction reference information in the “About_PlanDeer” sheet, then you need to enter them in the email that is being sent for activation, before the email is sent.
The email is now ready to be sent to Publisher’s support channel, with the information required for activation. Verify the details and send the email to the email id that gets populated automatically. If the email client is not configured, then click on “Copy to Clipboard” and paste the activation information into the email and send it to support@excelsquare.com
Once the Publisher receives your request, usually, you would receive the activation code within 1 or 2 business days.

B. Enter Activation Code

On receipt of activation code, open the PlanDeer plan and click on the PlanDeer menu and then click on Activate menu under Activation tab. Copy the activation code that you have received and paste it into the “Activation Code” field. (It is advisable not to enter the activation code manually since it might be error prone). Click on “Activate PlanDeer”. This would activate your installation of PlanDeer.

Activation procedure for Corporate Users:

For Corporate users, the step of requesting for activation code from Publisher would typically not be there and instead you would need to get the activation code from your organization contact who would have the activation code. Once you obtain the activation code, you may go to the second step detailed above (Enter Activation Code ) and complete the activation process.
